Kevin, Frances, Melissa, and Mitchell.

I continue to practice law as a Member at the firm that I started at in 1989 – Frost Brown Todd (formerly Frost & Jacobs). My practice has focused on environmental law from the beginning of my career, an area that I enjoy due to the mix of technical, legal, risk and policy considerations. My environmental practice is a mix of litigation/enforcement defense, transactional (real estate and corporate M&A), and counseling and auditing.
I have served in various leadership roles at the firm, including being on the Executive Committee of Frost & Jacobs when we merged to form Frost Brown Todd in 2001 (and continuing after the merger). I currently serve as the chair of the firm’s Environmental Practice Group, which is one of the largest groups in the Midwest. The practice of law has certainly changed since we started in 1989!

Frances and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary next year (2020). We live in Anderson Township, near Ivy Hills CC. Frances enjoys working as a teacher’s aide at IHM School. We have two children. Mitchell is in his third year of medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio (Boonshoft Medical School). He is in the early part of his rotations, trying to figure out what type of doctor he would like to be. Melissa is a junior at The Ohio State University in the business school, trying to figure if she wants to work in business, go to law school or do something else.

I have been active in the Cincinnati community and involved with a number of non-profit/civic organizations, including serving on the boards of the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, The First Tee of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, Clermont Counseling Center, LifePoint Solutions, Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services. I am currently on the board of the Playhouse in the Park.

In my “spare” time, I enjoy golfing, vacationing in Siesta Key, Florida, working in the yard, and coaching youth athletics.
